It's downside is a high expansion coefficient in warmer weather & its low impact resistance.

Aluminium sheet: A lightweight metal sheet in 2 or 3mm. Used for highly rigid & damage resistant signage the world over, it comes either as a natural finish or white painted. Can be coated to any colour or sprayed / powder coated to a specific BS shade. High quality & durability at nearly the same cost as acrylic.
